Registration
The registration of a relay team is done online via the user account of the team captain.
Registration for the Berliner Wasserbetriebe 5 x 5K TEAM-Relay 2025 is expected to be possible by the end of January 2025.
After successful registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. You will also find an overview of your registration in your user account under "My registrations".
No, you can register a team of 5 people being one of the runners. Maybe you'd just like to be there to cheer them on at the side of the course instead!
In your user account you can change the names of the relay members until the day of the event under "My registrations" > Berliner Wasserbetriebe 5x5K TEAM-Relay.
We ask for your understanding that due to the logistical and organisational complexity of the event, participation fees cannot be refunded. Detailed information on this can be found in our Terms & Conditions of participation.

The start and finish area is on the lawn in Tiergarten park.
Of course! Each team will receive a SNACK-BAG. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Please note that we do not provide cups or cutlery. You must bring these with you.
Unfortunately, no. Without exception, it is not permitted to set up your own tents on the event site.
Changing tents will be available on the event site.
Toilets will be available in the start and finish areas and at the aid stations.
We will be offering batons in the start area for any team that doesn’t have their own. However, it is even better if you bring your own, and there are no limits to your ideas. The most creative baton will be rewarded at the end.
The timekeeping is cumulative for the whole team. For this purpose, mikaTags are attached to the race bibs of the first and last runners, which are registered in the system as they pass through the start and finish.
