In the middle of Tiergarten park: The TEAM-Relay Course

With a view of the Reichstag at the start and with fans cheering from the tents on the final stretch — the 5K course of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe 5 x 5K TEAM-Relay winds its way between the Victory Column and the Federal Chancellery through the northern part of Tiergarten park. There is plenty of shade here even on hot summer days.

The exchange zone in the start and finish area

The exchange zone where you pass your baton to the next runner is located in the middle of the start-finish.
Please do not enter the exchange zone too soon to reduce unnecessary crowding, which will happen, especially at the first exchange. Please enter the zone according to the estimated running time of your approaching teammate. Then you can go Team-Relay Race Course completely relaxed.

Tip:

The start of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe 5 x 5K TEAM-Relay takes place in waves. This helps distribute the participants more evenly along the course to help avoid crowding. We recommend that you decide if the first runner will start in wave 1, 2 or 3, so you can better estimate the time of the first exchange more accurately.
